Important information for TopTaal students

The government has decided to close all schools. At least until April 6. The rapid spread of the coronavirus and the measures taken by the cabinet have consequences for everyone. This also applies to TopTaal. The past few days have shown that providing good education in these rapidly changing circumstances is very difficult. And the well-being of our students and employees is also very important.

From Monday March 16 to Monday April 6 there are no lessons at all locations.

REMOTE LEARNING / ONLINE LEARNING

We try to get our classes through online channels as much and as quickly as possible. In other words, distance learning. In the coming week, we will examine the options for online classes and other options for each study program.

FAQ

What does TopTaal do to prevent distribution?

TopTaal closely follows the advice of RIVM, the GGD and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Classes are no longer given at all TopTaal locations. Our head office is also closed. We work from home where possible. If the work does not allow you to work from home, we will adhere to the following measures.

What can I do myself to prevent spreading?

The main measures you can take yourself to prevent the spread of the coronavirus are very simple. These measures apply to all viruses that can cause flu and colds. So it is always important to follow these.

• Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds
• Cough and sneeze in the inside of your elbow
• Use tissue paper
• Do not shake hands

I suspect I have been infected. What should I do?

For all your questions about your health, we refer you to the information from RIVM and the national government. If you have been tested positive. Report this to the project manager or the teacher.

Do the lessons take place?

All on-site lessons will expire from Monday March 16 through April 6. We try to continue as much as possible through online channels. We are preparing for that in the coming week.

When can we get lessons again on location?

We have a lot of contact with municipalities and the local GGDs and adhere to the measures they prescribe. The closing of the class locations applies until April 6. If anything changes, we will let you know.
